Care and Cleanliness Commitment

At Massage Works, our purpose is to care for people so they can live well.  On the path toward a COVID-19 recovery, we want to help you once again experience the joy of therapeutic massages – with a focus on safety first, and wellbeing always.

Massage Works is taking comprehensive steps to implement new guidance, procedures and practices and reimagine the therapeutic massage experience for our clients. These are some additional actions Massage Works is taking to care for you during this time.

Care

  • Alcohol-based hand sanitizers will be available to clients.

  • All clients and massage therapists must wear a face mask at all times.

  • Health screening will include a pre-session health intake and no-touch thermal temperature scan.

  • Flexibility is more important than ever when booking appointments, our enhanced cancellation policy is no charge up to 15 minutes prior to appointment time.

Clean

  • Disinfecting high-touch surfaces between clients with an EPA-registered disinfectant..

  • Disinfecting the face cradle, treatment shield and plastic sheet over the massage table with an EPA-registered disinfectant between clients.

  • Ventilate the session room by using a HEPA air filtration system.

  • Using ultraviolet radiation (UV-C) is an accepted disinfection method for massage equipment and other surfaces when appropriate, based on the manufacturer’s recommendations.

  • Declutter and remove items from the session room that might become dusty, or contaminated and require repeated cleaning and disinfecting.
