It's time to get into the habit of letting go of excess stuff, rather than finding a place to stuff it.
Discourage paper piles from forming by creating a RAF file or as some people call it an action file.

Research shows that laughter and humor could help lower systolic blood pressure (the top number) by about 10 points in just 20 minutes. Normal blood pressure is 120/80.
In a small study, participants watched both a 20-minute humorous video clip and a serious war movie while researchers measured the participants' blood pressure.
